Italian Linen

Italian linen lapel detail

Hand-pressed lapel on a tan linen summer suit. Every edge rolled by hand so the fabric breathes.

Rolled Lapel Edge

Pressed by hand so the notch holds its shape through a long reception without looking fused or stiff.

Shoulder Roll

Soft natural shoulder with minimal padding — Neapolitan-style construction that moves with you.

Linen Weave

Breathable Italian linen. You can see the slub of the yarn, which is what keeps the jacket light in humid weather.

The Selection

Fabric library at the shop

A rotating library of Italian, English, and Egyptian fabrics. Pick what the jacket is made of before a thread is cut.

Italian Linen

Warm-weather fabric, dry to the touch. Pairs with unstructured construction for summer weddings.

Worsted Wool

The year-round workhorse. Holds a crease, takes a press, and sits clean under a topcoat.

English Tweed

Structured and weighty, built for cooler months and sport coats. Wears in, never out.

Herringbone

Grey herringbone suit

Grey herringbone, finished and pressed. The weave shifts with the light, which is why clients keep coming back for it.

Collar Roll

Canvas set into the collar gives it a soft, natural fall against the shirt instead of a stiff edge.

Herringbone Weave

A V-pattern twill. Reads as solid grey from across the room and as texture up close.

Flap Pocket

Functional flap, hand-stitched onto the body. No fusing, so it moves with the jacket.

Meet Kung.

Trained in traditional hand-tailoring and running Sunsilk on Chestnut Street for over a decade, Kung builds garments the way they were built a century ago — patient, precise, and measured twice.
